Administrative Office Reception Staff

Responsibilities

  • Customer service: greet everyone who comes into the office and offer assistance; answer telephone and direct questions appropriately
  • Be knowledgeable about MUB policies and procedures
  • Understand and be knowledgeable about the MUB website and Wildcat Link pages
  • Assist staff in copying, faxing, and distributing materials
  • Count and distribute event posters
  • Pick up and distribute office mail
  • Reconcile accounts and assist with financial documents (cashbox requests, deposits, pcards, contracts, etc)
  • Order supplies as needed
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Time Requirements

  • Expected to work scheduled shifts; approximately 6 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-4:30pm)
  • Expected to pick up shifts dropped by other staff when necessary 
  • Attend all biweekly staff meetings
  • Attend at least 2 MUB Training sessions per semester
  • Upon hire, attend “FISH” video training
  • Return to campus early at the beginning of Fall semester for Opening Weekend
